Allegion today announced their Gainsborough Freestyle Electronic Trilock™ has been awarded one of the most prestigious design excellence awards in Australia: the Australian Good Design Award 2021 for product design in hardware and building.
The Australian Good Design Awards is the country’s oldest and most prestigious international awards for design and innovation with a proud history dating back to 1958. This latest award joins the 2021 IOT Breakthrough Award in celebrating the design and innovation of the Gainsborough Freestyle Electronic Trilock™.
The 2021 Good Design Awards attracted a record number of submissions with 933 design projects evaluated by more than 70 Australian and international Jurors, including designers, engineers, architects and thought leaders.
The Good Design Awards Jury commented: “The product looks professionally designed and well executed. When closed the form is clean and refined; and when open the interface is simple and straightforward. Overall, a standout project that ticks all the boxes for good design in this category.”
