Lemaar Pty Ltd (Lemaar), a privately held door hardware company based in Victoria, is now a part of Allegion Australia. Lemaar was acquired by a subsidiary of global Allegion PLC in a transaction that closed on 28^th February, 2025.

Founded in 1999, Lemaar is well-known in Australia for its high-quality security and accessibility solutions, which include door entry systems, handles and digital locks for residential and multifamily markets. By joining the Allegion Australia family, Lemaar products will complement the Allegion Australia portfolio and create an enhanced offering to customers and consumers alike.

Moving forward, the Lemaar business now reports into the Allegion International segment of Allegion PLC, and more specifically as part of Allegion Australia, led by Allegion Vice President of Asia Pacific, Serge Zappone.

Bill Spyrou, owner of Lemaar, joins the Allegion Australia team in an advisory capacity, supporting a smooth transition for the business and customers.
